Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
I like having a go-to person, or place, for all of our appointments. I think most people do! When the person who used to cut my son’s hair left to start his own barbershop in a different town, I was so disappointed. Especially since I didn’t find out until I called to make an appointment! I lost my go-to person for his haircuts! It felt so overwhelming.
We tried someone else in the same place he always got his hair cut and it wasn’t great. I found a different place and felt good about it based on reviews, but again we were disappointed. Then I was reading comments in a Facebook group I belong to responding to a question from someone who had a similar problem, and I decided to schedule an appointment with someone who was frequently suggested.
When the appointment time came my son was really nervous. For so long he had a specific haircut in mind and was always disappointed. Just before we walked in the door he stopped me and suggested we pray about it. I thought that was a great idea! We prayed about it and the haircut ended up being the best one he’s ever had in his life! Even better than the guy who unexpectedly left us! What a relief.
These Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars will quickly become a go-to recipe for you! They are so easy to make. You can make them for any holiday and switch out a cup of the chocolate chips for holiday themed M&M’s! I just love this recipe, it’s great!
