A quick and easy one-bowl Apple Crisp perfected with cinnamon and sugar coated apples and a crisp golden topping!
Apple Crisp with Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix
This recipe and I go waaaaay back. Before Pinterest we had to rely on printing recipes from websites or getting them from taste testing at potlucks, which is how I got this recipe. And before that we had to actually use cookbooks! Now those cookbooks are just used as background props for pictures. Oh how times have changed!
One of the reasons I love all four seasons is because the one thing that doesn’t change are the smells and taste of each season, especially Fall. Everything else changes around it, from decor to what we wear but the smell of apples coated in cinnamon and sugar never changes. When that smell comes from the kitchen it fills the entire house with a sense of warmth and comfort that is consistent from year to year.
This Easy Apple Crisp is by far the best version of this recipe you’ll ever try. It is super easy to make, you only need one bowl! It doesn’t matter what apples you use, they all taste great in this recipe. It’s great when you need a last minute idea for guests or potlucks, it has simple ingredients, and everyone will love it! My favorite way to eat it is warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
