An adorable no bake Christmas treat for children of all ages! These Reindeer Oreos are easy and fun to make with your kids!
Rudolph Oreo Cookies
One of our favorite Christmas traditions is to build a Gingerbread House together. One year I had a busted finger so two of my fingers were taped together – it was quite inconvenient and awkward! It was a struggle putting the icing where it needed to be so my husband offered to help. I was shocked at how well he can pipe icing! Impressed, actually. I have officially turned the icing job over to him for good!
Once he realized he wasn’t so bad at it he got brave and decided to decorate a Gingerbread Man. My jaw dropped at his revealing! It was so cute! I was so elated over this new found talent of his! It’s true that we are never too old to try new things.
Speaking of trying new things, I think it would be fun to try making some new and fun things in the kitchen with your kids this Christmas, like these Reindeer Oreos! I think they will have a blast making Pop Tart Gingerbread Houses, Oreo Snow Globe Cookies, the best Soft Christmas Cutout Sugar Cookies, Reindeer Pretzels, Melted Snowman Bark, or Reindeer Graham Crackers, too!
What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups Chocolate Almond Bark, Melted
- 15 Oreos
- 30 Mini-Pretzels
- 30 Candy Eyes
- 15 Red M&M’s
How to Make Reindeer Oreos
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt 2 cups chocolate almond bark in the microwave, stirring in 30 second intervals.
- Once the almond bark is melted and smooth, place an Oreo into it. Cover it with melted almond bark, don’t stir it around. That will leave Oreo crumbs.
- Tap the Oreo on the side of the bowl with a fork to shake off access and place on the parchment paper.
- Set 2 mini-pretzels on the top of the Oreo for antlers, 2 candy eyes beneath them, and finish by placing a red M&M beneath the eyes for the nose.
Recipe Tips:
- Chocolate – I prefer almond bark instead of chocolate chips because it melts nicer and is easier to work with.
- Pretzel – You could also break each pretzel in half to make it look more like an authentic antler.
- Reindeer Oreo Cookie Pop – If you are feeling fancy, you can put a stick through the cream center of the Oreo to make it a cookie pop!
