An easy to make turtle using a Rolo in the center and topped with a pecan! It’s the perfect sweet and salty treat!
Rolo Pretzel Bites
These tasty little treats are one of my all-time favorite go-to Christmas recipes! So much sweet, salty, chocolatey, caramel perfection is packed into each bite size Rolo Pretzel Turtle. It is more likely that I would go sky-diving than stop at eating just one, or twenty.
I just can’t rave enough about these. They are so easy to make, they travel nice, pack into little bags or boxes without breaking into pieces, and they work perfectly as a thoughtful homemade Christmas gift for friends, family, or neighbors!
These round pretzels can produce a wide variety of sweet and salty candy! Some of my favorites are Peppermint Pretzel Bites, Mint M&M Christmas Pretzels, Sugar Cookie Pretzel Bites, or S’mores Pretzel Bites!

Recipe Notes:
- Seasonal – These don’t have to be a seasonal treat, you can make them anytime of the year!
- Pretzels – You don’t have to use round pretzels. I prefer the round pretzels because the Rolo melts evenly, so they look better. But they are only in store’s during the holidays. The next best option is the square pretzels.
- Quantity – It’s best to make one pan of these at a time. You don’t want to manage too many at once because the Rolo starts to set. You want to be able to easily press the pecan half into the melted candy.
- Pecans – You may have see recipes that call for toasting the pecan first. It’s really not necessary, both for time and taste. They taste just as amazing without toasting the pecan!
